Parts of America

A cross-country road trip exploring America’s most unique car cultures and building a collection of one‑of‑a‑kind rides.

Background

Earlier in the year, eBay showed up at the NY Auto Show to prove the best new car can be one you already own. The next step was to reach real enthusiasts across the country, showing them what’s possible with eBay Motors’ extensive selection of parts and accessories (P&As). It was the perfect opportunity to take the format of the auto show on the road.

What we did

In the fall, eBay Motors embarked on a 12-stop road trip with Parts of America, creating the country’s most unique rolling auto show. The tour visited small towns to explore regional car culture, and along the way real builders made eight bespoke rides that showed what’s possible when you use P&As from eBay Motors. The eight rides represented the quiltwork of American auto culture and were featured on a hauler along the way, before ending in California with a finale at the LA Auto Show.
