The first-ever sports training camp to coach up collectors and help them build world-class collections.
Background
For sports fans, simply watching isn’t enough. They immerse themselves in the world of competition and fandom. Over 60% play a rec sport every month, and like the athletes they admire, they’re always on the hunt for an advantage to up their game. During major sporting events, their interest and involvement rises even higher.
What we did
Combine fans’ love of the game with their love of collecting by hosting a training camp series to improve their skills. eBay coached fans at Collectors Camp by translating its unique digital collecting tools into real sports drills. Held during major sporting moments like the NBA Draft and MLB All-Star Game, fans at Collectors Camp were joined by pro athletes (who also collect) like Sabrina Ionescu and Mikal Bridges.
