Endless Runway
The first-ever officially sanctioned pre-loved fashion shows during New York and London Fashion Weeks—where consumers could shop the runway in real-time via eBay Live.
Background
Every fashion week designers show upcoming collections, sparking trends that fuel wasteful fast fashion cycles that result in 60% of the 100 billion garments produced annually ending up in landfills within a year. With an unrivaled selection of pre-owned pieces, eBay needed to cement itself as the place for accessible and sustainable luxury designer fashion. So we took pre-loved to a place it hasn’t gone before – fashion’s biggest stage.
What we did
On the days preceding the official start to New York Fashion Week (NYFW) and London Fashion Week (LFW), eBay launched Pre-Loved Fashion Week with Endless Runway, the world’s first all preloved fashion shows. In partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and the British Fashion Council (BFC), Endless Runway was curated by style expert Wisdom Kaye in NYC and Pre-Loved Style Director Amy Bannerman in London. The shows debuted on eBay Live, where viewers could shop pre-owned archival looks from NYFW and LFW designers in real-time.
After the shows, Pre-Loved Fashion Week continued online. eBay released daily drops of curated pre-owned pieces from top designers showing at both Fashion Weeks, coinciding with each day’s runway schedule.

“Given that Gen-Z shoppers are increasingly looking for pre-loved fashion, the resale platform hopes that the designers showing at New York and London Fashion Week take note, too.”

“eBay is creating a buzz in the name of circularity, inaugurating a concept it is calling "Pre-Loved Fashion Week.’”
