P.J. Tucker X eBay
A series of exclusive sneaker drops from the NBA Sneaker King himself – P.J. Tucker.
Background
Sneakerheads know that eBay is the ultimate destination for new, vintage, and hard-to-find kicks; it’s also the marketplace that the NBA’s most renowned sneaker collector, P.J. Tucker has used daily for years. So who better to team up with for a next-level set of sneaker drops?
What we did
The Loft Drop
When P.J. Tucker’s 5,000 pair-strong collection outgrew his house, he needed to lock down another spot just for his kicks – aka The Sneaker Loft. eBay teamed up with Tucker to give fans a first-look at the loft collection and launch a sneaker drop directly inspired by it. Shot in partnership with Director X, the first-look gave fans a peek inside the famed Houston Loft where P.J. showed off his rarest eBay finds and detailed how the site helped shape his collection throughout the years. Fans could then ‘shop the loft’ exclusively on eBay.
The Charity Auction
The following year, eBay and P.J. took it one step further and launched another exclusive drop in partnership with the streetwear retailer Solestage. This time, all 100+ of the picks were selected directly from his legendary personal collection of game-worn and rare sneakers, sold with custom laser engraved sneaker boxes, and a portion of the proceeds went to the charity Sole4Souls.
Social Output

Tucker has more shoes than any one person could ever know what to do with. So thanks to his partnership with eBay, the NBA’s sneaker champion will auction off his personal pairs of extremely rare and hard to find grail sneakers.
