An all female-powered drop of the largest sneaker collections in the world, auctioned exclusively on eBay.
Background
Despite driving the market and spending more than their male counterparts, female sneakerheads are not being treated as equals by the industry. As part of a Women’s History Month program spotlighting the need for inclusivity, eBay brought together notable designers, stylists, bloggers, and sellers to curate and drop all-female collections.
What we did
eBay collaborated with Chicks with Kicks, Ariana, Dakota, and Dresden Peters, three sisters who built the largest sneaker collection in the world, to do an unprecedented drop for Women's History Month. The collection was stacked with sought-after grails from Michael Jordan and Dr. J prototypes, to an original Air Max 1, and 1-of-1 collabs for the Beastie Boys, Fat Joe, and Sandy Bodecker, founder of the SB Dunk. The drop included 2K+ shoes available for the first time ever — exclusively on eBay.
